Vasseur Skin Clinic Salon and Spa has expanded and relocated to a new, larger facility in a beautifully restored 1887 Victorian located in historic Banker’s Hill in San Diego.

In addition to their signature facials and peels, microdermabrasion, and waxing, they have added a full service hair salon, massages, manicures and reflexology pedicures. Vasseur Skin Clinic Salon and Spa also offers state-of-the-art laser airbrush tanning, permanent makeup, makeup application and bridal makeup.

With their expansion, the spa now offers non surgical medical services including hair laser removal, photo rejuvenation, BOTOX® and Restylane. These treatments are performed by licensed physicians and nurses.

Owner Melanie Vasseur is famous first for her individually formulated skincare products and treatments. She struggled with problem skin as a young girl and has made it her life long goal to help others. It,s all about getting back the skin you were born with and according to Melanie, this is possible. Skin, being the largest living organ in the body, can be healthy or unhealthy. Because skin cells constantly turn over,
with the right products and training, you can regenerate your skin and get a healthy, glowing, smoother and more youthful appearance.

"My products are medical grade, not what you find over-the-counter," she says. She developed her first line of products for "real people" who suffered from acne, rosacea, sun damage, and problem skin. She has since expanded her skincare line to include "high-tech designer" formulas. Only a few companies world-wide use the special ingredients she uses in her designer line.

Her products are designed to slow the aging process and leave skin toned and smooth. Her Eye Q Gel, containing GABA, a topical BOTOX, combats wrinkles and puffiness around the eyes. Face Firm, with idebenone, one of the most exciting new skincare ingredients, offers mega antioxidant formulas to protect and define. Her "Hot Lips" lip plumper is a client favorite. Melanie continually develops new products as a direct result of her clients request or needs.
